Doughty Steel and Machine started as a black smith shop by Melvin Doughty in 1935 where he sharpened plow shears and typical small job shop pieces. We have come along way since 1935 serving all of Western Colorado along with Utah and all the surrounding states.
We offer a complete fabrication facility along with AWS certified welders and a shop that include 2 Lasers along with CNC (computerized numerical control) Press Brake for very precision parts. Whether prototypes, one off, or production parts we have the capability to fabricate all your needs.
We also offer complete crane service whether bare rental or with one of our NCCCO certified operators. We can lift your needs with capacities up to 150 Tons.
